WeeCraft Pump & Valve Packing – Non-Asbestos

WeeCraft Packing is non-asbestos, universal pump and valve packing which has unlimited shelf life. It has a malleable (putty-like) consistency and is made from a carefully controlled blend of high-tech synthetic fibers and specially formulated lubricants and greases.
WeeCraft Packing runs cooler than braided packing and never needs flush or cooling water. Braided packing is designed to leak and MUST LEAK to prevent burn-up. This is messy and expensive. By contrast WeeCraft Packing is designed NOT to leak and in most cases runs virtually leak free.

Compatibility may be ascertained by matching the pH of the media to the pH capability of the WeeCraft Packing as shown in the table above. We always recommend a 24 hour “soak test” for all critical applications.
The pH factor is a numerical measure of the intensity or severity of an acid or caustic. pH values are given for a wide range of acid and caustic services. Distilled water is neutral at a pH of 7.0.
